Description
This Ancient Egyptian Scarab New Kingdom with a green-blue glaze measures 12mm by 17mm and was created during the XVIII dynasty, between the period of 1570-1070 BC. It is in a 14-karat yellow gold reversable setting that was designed and created by Walker Christopher Ltd.
The Ancient Egyptians believed that the scarab beetle held the secret of eternal life and these amulets were fashioned into all types of jewelry to be worn as symbols of good fortune.
