(Phaethon lepturus catesbyi) This yellow-billed, white-tailed tropicbird, not indigenous but native to Bermuda, is a well-known national symbol to our Island. The Longtail is Bermuda’s traditional harbinger of spring and one of the most beautiful features of our coastline during the summer months.
