BERMUDA MOPED
STERLING SILVER BERMUDA ICONS
A trip to Bermuda is not complete without a motorbike ride along the south shore inhaling the unique combination of salty ocean air, suntan oil, and exhaust fumes. Not just for tourists, driving a motorbike is a rite of passage for locals as well. The narrow winding roads are a test for all; especially when faced with those who view the yellow dividing line as a mere suggestion.
Few riders have gone unscathed by a little road rash and muffler burns. Recent attempts to ban the use of the so-called third lane – where motorbikes skirt between the two lanes of traffic – has proved difficult as many believe it is just too ingrained in our ways.
We make no judgment of our fellow motorists – we simply wish to pay tribute to the days when helmet hair was our biggest morning gripe
